As a birth professional, my role is to provide emotional, physical, and informational support throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period.
I am also a resource to help you navigate medical terminology, protocols/procedures, all while empowering you to trust your ability to birth.
My path as a support provider began when I was pregnant with my first son. I began to research pregnancy and birth and was amazed by the multitude of options available. After the fantastic home birth of my first son I knew that birth work was my passion; helping women and families discover their options and supporting them in their journeys.
My formal education includes a Bachelor of Human Kinetics, Movement Science and a certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. I am a CAPPA Certified Labour Doula, Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Childbirth Educator and Lactation Educator.
